Help w/CCB Spare Wheel!!!

Hello everyone,

I'm currently trying to decide I'll get the carbon brakes. One of the deciding factors for me is whether I can get a compact spare wheel to fit. I've had a lot of flats the lasy 5-years (13 actually), so know the value of a spare. Brings me to this:

BimmerZone is very nicely willing to help, but needs to test fit a solution on a car with CCBs. They don't have prospects for this yet, so if you're near West Chester, PA and willing to help that'd be amazing. I know there'd be a number of guys on the forum with CCBs that'd appreciate this assistance, too!

If you're in the area, have CCBs, and are willing to help that'd be awesome so please let me know!

Matthew

Talk to tire rack. Since they don't work with 18 inch wheels I would not expect this to be possible and more over if they would be ok with your spare, CCBs are very sensitive to being chipped and ruined during wheel change so NO WAY would I want this being done on the side of the road!

BTW, at risk of jinxing myself- I have had one flat and it was in 1977.

Check out replacement cost of a chipped rotor before you keep trying.
