Secondary Air Valve (bank 2)

Searched but couldn't find anything, has anybody ever replaced this valve? It's buried deep behind the engine next to the firewall and bmwtis instructs to remove the exhaust manifold and, of course, that will lead to the removal of the entire exhaust system, I presume. Is there an alternative diy approach somebody could recommend?

I'm getting a lean misfire on bank 2 as soon as the engine warms up. I'm suspecting a stuck open valve as that's about the time/moment it should be closing. Smoke test found no leaks anywhere.
