What ship left for California this week?

I've been calling the 800 number every day and was just told yesterday
(1/18) that my car is "in transit" to the west coast. I sent an email to my salesman and I've been checking other threads but most of those waiting for a boat seem to be from the east coast. Anyone in my situation have any info?

i'm pretty sure that you car is on a train right now over here, not on a boat. there are no boats from east coast to the west coast.......

Oh, I got it. You probably don't know that the west coast deliveries travel by ship to California through the Panama Canal. Well, now you do.

My friend's 335i is on the NYK Hudson Leader which departed Bremerhaven on 1-16 and will dock in Jacksonville, FL around 1-29, then through the canal to final port at Port Hueneme, CA about 2-13. Maybe your boat too?

thank you! very helpful!! i am waiting for my 335 too. I think mine had been "awaiting transport" at the german port since Jan 12 or 13...

Just found that there will be another ship leaving couple days later, its name is Aphrodite Leader. I am not sure which vessel my car will be on...my dealer sucks, the sales person didnt even know they would be able to know the name of ship which carrys my car

I just confirmed that my car is on the Hudson Leader with an ETA at the dealership of 2/19.

Thanks! I guess since mine finished production on jan 11, i will probably be on Aphrodite Leader

Folsommike and I ordered from the same dealer - a week or so apart (I ordered 12/31). My car is still sitting in "scheduled for prod with no confimred date...."

This is killing me.

I suppose I need to confirm what build week I am in - when I ordered, the projected deliv date was (is?) the first week of March.

Folsomike - who was your CA? I ordered mine from Daryl H.

Where did you drop your car off in Europe...

I dropped my Cabrio off on 12/28 in Frankfurt, I sent an email to the Harms Office in Frankfurt and she emailed me that my car is currently on the Hudson Leader...

So depending on where you dropped it off, you can find email addresses etc on the bmwusa.com website...
