carbon ceramic brakes
So, just curious, has anyone else heard that the carbon ceramic breaks will not be covered by BMW warranty? My understanding is they are supposed to last the lifetime of the car, however, they should still be covered. It's noted in sib 000214.

If you check the service on idrive .. It will tell you pads are needed at 160k front and 106 rear which will pass the time and miles that bmw provides. I'm sure that is why they don't include it in the service part. They do however have to cover them if they fail during the 4/50. |
