Hit and Run

Some fxxking driver over at 88 Ranch market left me a 3" scrach mark on my E92's rate bumper... and it happened in less than 5 mins.

plus, Stock market went down more than 300 points...

what a day for me, unbelievable......

Question: with that big of scratch, will detail do the job or repaint the whole bumper?

That sucks. Similar thing happened to me years ago. AFAIK, it will depend on the depth of the scratch. If you need a good local detailer PM me.

Sorry to hear it bro. Depending on the scratch, you can try some of the better scratch treatmetns like MEguiars Clear Plastic or Scratch X.

Post a pic.

thanks for all these replies.....what the hell is wrong with these random crazy drivers at super 88? next time I am going there, I'd better do a check with cars around me.

well, the scratch isn't that bad i believe. it's visible but not too deep
(I will post a pic somewhere later today)

If you guys can provide some good detailers around the area, I would be really appreciated!

Detailers:

There's a good one in Winchester, but forgot the name

The one that I use is called Luxury Details on Route 9 (280 Worcester Road) in Natick.

That would be JD at the Auto Salon. He's a great guy and does a very good job. Highly recommended.

Yeah, that's him. He's a couple blocks away from Bavarian Performance Group on Main St.

It looks like the paint has been rubbed of your bumper. Most likely needs to repainted.
