interior trim help needed

While installing my p3 gauge the front of the plastic interior floor trim that runs along the door opening popped up. I tried just pushing it back no luck. Do I need to pull the whole strip up and pull the clips out and then put the clips back in the trim to get it to clip in?

Did the clips put out of the strip? If so, yes you need to pull out the entire thing, put all the clips into the strip and then pop in.

It also clips/indexes at the back and maybe front of the strip so take a look at the bottom and make sure it goes back in correctly.

I hate that strip....literally the thing that takes the most time to put back on. If you flip that strip over, the brown tabs are rectangular. Make sure they are all oriented long ways, like the strip itself. I always slide the one nearest the front in, then twist/slide/pop in the rest.
