M Performance Pedal Installation in S. Florida

Hi all,

Any recommendations for a place in South Florida to have the M performance pedals installed? I got a quote for $75 but thought it was a little too much, given that I read in another thread of someone paying $25. I wouldn't risk it and do it myself, so looking for other options.

Thanks in advance,

Did you already buy the pedals? There are some lookalikes available on eBay that just slide on.

If you definitely want to use the BMW ones, check out Miami Performance Inc on 117 ave and sw 120th st (West Kendall area). Owner and head tech are nice, and seem to know what they're doing.

Called a few places and they all charge between $75 and $80 so I asked my bf to install them and it took him about one hour with no previous experience

Is there a DIY thread on how to install the pedals?

No, but very easy. On the brake petal (and clutch) first take the rubber stock pedal off. Then line up the new pedal and mark where the holes are. Drill the holes and screw in the new pedals.

On the gas pedal, just line up the new pedal over the stock pedal. Mark the holes and drill. Then screw in the new pedal.

Is there a special drill bit that needs to be used?

I can't remember the size. Just look at the screws and use one that is close. There are nuts on the back side so it can be a little bit larger than the screws. It has to be a metal bit since both the brake and clutch pedals are metal. The gas pedal is plastic.

Appreciate it, putting them on today. Hope it's as easy you described it! Bmw quoted me $75-$90 to install. No thanks.
