Might be helpful to specify ACM vs. Perforated method. Been there, done that.

Or the muffler could have been split into two pieces. Or the connecting pipes could have been cut in the middle. Or it could have been done ACM style and OP thinks that means it was "cut in the middle".

Let's keep things in perspective. He posted an FS thread in the "General Section". Anything is fair game.
