IND | Fall Line Motorsports F8X M3/M4 Toe Link Kit

A byproduct of multi-link suspension arrangements is a dynamic change in the car’s alignment settings- when making an adjustment to one attribute, such as camber, track width and toe will follow. This is especially true for the F8x vehicles, as the original BMW camber eccentric bolt has a major impact on toe as well. Alignments are made faster and simpler when using a set of aftermarket lower arms, enabling the alignment tech to easily reset toe after adjusting camber.

The Fall Line Motorsports F8X M3/M4 Toe Link Kit is designed to facilitate rapid adjustments of toe during an alignment, and combined with the tension strut will also enable adjustment of overall track. Not only does this allow for fine tuning of wheel fitment, these arms will allow an alignment shop to make quick work of car setup, even simplifying the camber adjustment process as a result.

The Race version of the toe link kit utilizes a unique clamp-style fastener system as seen in BMW’s own tie rods and Porsche Motorsport components, tightening the adjustment arm in place with no stretch of the hardware or change of alignment. Less expensive jam-nut designs limit precision and nearly guarantee an alignment change when the jam-nut is tightened. As will all Fall Line suspension components, high quality Aurora bearings are used to ensure a very long service life. ARP hardware is used throughout to guarantee the highest level of durability. Laser cut lockout washers correctly eliminate the original BMW adjustment, eliminating any unwanted movement in the system.

Please contact IND by phone or email for more information or to place your order.

I just installed the Street Rear Toe link kit on my F82 M4.

What a great piece of hardware! Everything I would ever want from a solid bushing replacement - no noise, much easier alignment, dust boots, and cheap for what you get! Installs easily and the alignment techs love them.

There is a noticeable improvement in stability once you have the rear end really out of shape, it's much more predictable without that squishy loading up that the stock suspension does.

Damn that race kit must be something serious if it is 4 times more expensive than the street!

Looks like some good stuff!

The race kit is a more technically elegant solution, but the standard kit works well also. The race toe arms have machined ends that allow for a clamp style adjustment lock, and a Kephos coating used in F1 suspension arms. The machining operations and the higher end coating are what create the higher cost.

That's great info! Yeah I figured as much. Seems to be worth the extra cost, it just was a big difference which is what caught my attention. Definitely not needed for me until I decide to really track my car a lot more. Either way good luck with selling these. I'm sure you have lots of satisfied clients

Personally, I'm really happy with the toe arms on the street. They really do firm up the back end of the car, such that you have more control, especially with the tires spinning - these cars generate a huge amount of torque and I got a ton of back end squishiness when the tires were spinning. It's a much cleaner action now, with more predictability.

So it's worth the $250? Should I pair it with aftermarket suspension or is it good with stock suspension?

Either! works great with stock to keep the rear end more predictable.

How big of a difference does this make as far as cornering stability? I plan to put on swift lowering springs and wondering if this is a necessary upgrade or will I be just fine with just the springs?
Plan to track the car maybe once a year

Thanks for any input

The toe arms will help to easily and properly set toe - aiding in achieving a properly set alignment and thus improving performance on track.

The original BMW arm that these toe links replace has a bushing inside that moves during cornering. Removing compliant bushings will assist in creating a better handling car, but doing so one component at a time will have a relatively minor impact - especially if the car only has lowering springs installed for roll stiffness.

Do these toe links stabilize the rear wheels under hard acceleration as the Dinan ones claim to do? Does this help keep the tires in contact with the pavement and improve acceleration off the line?

These toe links will stabilize the rear in all conditions of heavy load by removing the original rubber bushing, and replacing it with a rigid spherical bearing. Removing that compliant bushing will limit geometry change, maintain a more consistent toe, and keep the car stable as loads are applied to the rear wheels.

The ability to freely adjust toe will also improve acceleration off the line, by allowing you to obtain a more favorable toe setting.

Hi cat - what's the difference between these (race version) rear toe links and the one offered by Dinan?

Dinan replaces all 4 rear links but I only see two links here being offered for the rear , is this correct?

Also regarding the standard version and the race version of these fall rear toe links - what's the difference in durability?

And what's the difference in durability vs those of the stock ones currently on the f82 non zcp? Thx
