Car detailed by Midlands Car Care.

So after BMW kindly washed my car with what can only be described as a brillo pad I got them to pay for a complete professional detail to rectify the marks. I chose Midlands Car Care is Walsall. I went for the Swissvax Enhancement package. The car is finished with 2 coats of Swissvax Shield. Over the moon with results! So much so that I thought I would share some pictures. Please excuse my winter mode.

A brilliant result after an appalling blunder by BMW. Fine choice of protection. Looks fantastic. Hope it stays that way!

That looks amazing - very impressive at a time when my black car looks like it's spent a night at the bottom of a river. Any idea on cost?

A full "detail" seems to run to about £300 I think. I'm persuaded to get myself a Dual Action polisher and do it myself once a year. It's probably a nice job on a good summer's day.

This detail cost £299. I didn't see the point in having the new steel rims and hub caps decontaminated and protected with Swissvax autobahn so if you want wheels doing its £349.

I have a DA and all the gear but I have never achieved a finish like this. Really does show off the pro's advantages!! MCC do a training day now and again so hoping to attend to learn the tricks.

A brilliant looking finish. Glad you got it sorted Josh. I would have been close to tears or manslaughter if I got my car back like you did - especially when you take such good care of your car. If dealers can't have the job done right they shouldn't touch the car as this proves exactly how much damage can be done by carelessness.

Lovely looking car. I let the local hand car wash at mine last weekend and eventho paintwork was not perfect they have ruined it all little marks showing up in the sun. I will be looking for a place to do mine in the new year.

Looks better than the BWW effort!

I've been using Swissvax for years now. Applied a winter coating today, shield wax. Lasts very well. Finish is absolutely excellent, and a cracking smell when applying.

I'm lucky the Swissol factory is only 25 miles from me. Buy direct from source.

I had some of the purple haze when it first came out. Really good stuff but the soft version felt gritty so stopped using it.
