Yeah, it's all plug and play. You would also need the m3 paddles if your pre-lci.

Yup it's easy enough buddy, I've done it on mine. The only thing to be aware of is you can't use the M3-specific multifunction buttons as they will stop the paddles from working, so you'll need to swap the right-hand buttons over from your old wheel

Hmm in which case could I get away with just buying the paddles?

Interesting! Be a much cheaper option just buying the paddles?

It is plug and play apart from the right side buttons as has been mentioned.

My sport wheel currently has dct paddles so sided. I'll be fitting my M3 wheel shortly too and be selling my sport one with dct paddles.

makes such a difference with extended ali paddles the wheel makes such a difference, I still cant understand the push pull logic of the standard setup, in terms of fitting it was as stated a straightforward affair to sort out and done in no time at all really

Love the extended paddles Steve

As for the standard push-pull paddles, I actually prefer the way they work as it means you are able to change up and down gears with either hand. If I'm cornering and wish too change gear that setup makes it so much easier.

The M3 steering wheel has a really nice feel to it. Its well worth upgrading, but beware, make sure you buy a steering wheel with the paddles. I didn't and it turned out to be an expensive mistake as the paddles can vary.

Im with you. Being able to change gear up and down with 1 hand on the wheel is winner winner chicken dinner.
