Difficulty fitting 225 to rears
Hmm,
You might want to consider putting your tyres by fire before going to have them fitted. They're really struggling to fit the rears. Bloody run flats! Memories of Top Gear in Iceland are coming back! WD-40, a lighter & stand back! Anybody had difficulties? |

I'd bring them in the house so they're a little warm.
They used a plastic seat cover stuffed in one side to seat the outward face, then popped the back to remove the cover & popped the back out. The second went easier but it was a bit touch & go for a while! |

My local garage fitted 225s to a set of staggered 400m's with no problem.

My BMW dealer sourced and fitted 225 Pirelli's to my eBay 441M's with no reported tyre issues.
They don't look particularly stretched on the rears. However, you can see a difference between the fronts and the rears. Shame they didn't do so well with one of the valves. Not pulled through properly... It was acting like a slow puncture. Local tyre fitter just looked at it. Sprayed soap... Saw the bubbles and grabbed it and pulled... This reseated it, fine since. Enjoy your 441M's! I really like the styling of them on my car. Given the styling and flow of the spokes I don't think they look much smaller than my summer 403M's
