Small loose panel

Just took my new car for a motorway drive. On completion I saw on the front bumper area a very small loose panel! That shouldn't happen should it. I pushed it back in but I'm still concerned it came loose in the first place. Anyone know what this small panel is for and anyone else experienced this?

It's the cover for the towing eye - mine doesn't fit brilliantly either.

^^^

Some F30s are build in Germany, some in North Korea.

Sounds like you have one of the Korean built ones.......

No prizes for guessing which ones you'll suggest are built in which country?

Diesel?
Those with x drive?
Those with winter tyres?
