Concourse Detailing (can be found via google - other search engines are available apparently), Bradley is excellent, cost me around £400 for full 2 days including paint correction and g-techniq application. Results are stunning. I am in Berkshire so I am sure he would cover West London

Can I ask, does this improve paint protection from chips?

All my cars end up looking like someone's unloaded a shotgun at the front end.

My car is in transit, due for delivery wk48 so am looking at getting some sort of protection, or will it just make it extra shiny for longer?

I have to confess, washing the car is not a priority, so if that's all.it does then no point

Matt,
No amount of detailing products will protect your front end from stonechipping/gravelrash, apart from the paint protection films. What will help you is changing your driving style in traffic, and im not preaching here to you. I find if you double the distance you normally drive behind other traffic, the amount of chipping is virtually non existent. I know that can be a real pain, but it really is worth it. Its probably my OCD rearing its ugly head, but stonechips are at the top of my most hated list.

So two car lengths?

Sadly I do Motorway miles every day, leave a gap and someone fills it!

Yes, there is always that. Also, i find the stones that do the most damage, are often thrown at you by the traffic on the other side of the road, going the other way, so you cant really win. Best just to enjoy the car, and be as careful as possible, its more down to fate i suppose, regards, SIMON.

How are you guys getting on with the Gtech'ing? Im intrigued about this, did you request your dealer to skip the seal and protect?

A few months in does the car clean easier still, seem more resistant to chips you'd normally see also?

MattyK,

I've spoken to a place called Elite Films in Birkenhead (Liverpool) regarding a ppf wrap on front bumper, bonnet, wings, wing mirrors, headlights and boot access area on rear bumper.
The wrap will be seamless on bonnet, wings and front bumper.

They use the best ppf wrap made by Suntek which is self-healing.

Price wise it was looking £750. I have asked if they will do a discount if there are more people wanting it done.

If anyone is interested let me no and I will sort out a better price with them. I'm looking to have this carried out before Christmas.

I would rather just spend that on springs and some flash pedals and get e respray in 4 years or chop it in in 3
