Dunlop SP Winter Sport M3 ROF vs Dunlop SP Winter Sport 4D
I currently have the M3 runflats and feel that they are harsh and noisy. I am happy with their winter performance though. I am thinking of switching to the Winter Sport 4D hoping for a more comfortable and quieter ride, but equal or better winter performance and dry performance. Will this switch help ride and noise? Has anybody made this switch? If so, what has been your experience? I have a temp spare, so I have coverage if a flat should occur.
Thank you |

I too am very very happy with my Wintersport 4D's. I am running a square 225-40/18 setup on the stock staggered M235i wheels. Performance and road harshness seems to be unchanged from the Michelin Pilot SS given the climate they are running in.

Another happy 4D owner here, although I've yet to have them out in any serious snow so far. Dry performance is equal to the OEM all-season RFT's that come on the xDrive cars, with a little more squish due to the extra siping on the blocks.
