Question to 325i owners.
On your exhausts, the longer right pipe. Does it have the valve control cap in the right exhaust? IE - the cap that closes the right exhaust when you go high speeds then re opens as you slow down. Thanks in advance!

that's interesting, is this something only on US based 325i?? I will have to run down to the garage and check my 325i... is this cap plainly visible on the right side exhaust??
Also, what is the function of the valve?? Sound? Performance? Is there a hidden tweak/hack here? |

Its only on the 330i in all countries, and its only for sound at low RPM
Its the valve and flap on the right hand pipe

All that jazz just for sound at low RPM?
