BMW Performance Kit for 320D?
Anyone have one of these fitted to there GT?
http://www.bmw.com/com/en/owners/acc...it_diesel.html I'd like to know if this is actually available for the 320D GT (given the engine is the same as the F30) and whether you feel its worth the cost |

320d PPK
I got my BMW a in April, a 320d GT xdrive and I was in love. I had read up on everything there was to know about the model prior to purchase and one thing a definitely wanted was the M performance power kit! For various reasons, mainly financial, I didn't get around to do the upgrade until August, when BMW offered the PPK at a fixed and low price in Sweden. I booked a time for the upgrade and a couple of weeks later I could drive out of their garage with an almost completely new car.
The first thing I noticed was the responsiveness. Before the upgrade it felt a bit sluggish in Comfort mode, while in Sport mode it was a different "animal". After upgrade, the Comfort mode felt more like the old Sport mode and the new Sport mode was Monster mode . BMW states an increase of (at least) 20 bhp and 40 nm, but it feels so much more. It was so worth the price!!! Now I have winter tires (studded?) on, and there's no snow yet which makes driving boring. I skid on the studs (?) if I accelerate. I haven't test driven a 325d or 330d, but I will and get back with a verdict. Last edited by Zebban; 12-04-2014 at 03:27 PM.. |

Its arrived. Dealership wants to keep the car for 2 days. Based on what I've read online this job should be completed within a day. I told the the guy on the phone to go back and find out why they can't complete the job in a day. Am I being unreasonable?
