Trying to keep it within 1%

I can't figure out how to use the calculator so hopefully some of you will be able to help me! So I have a set of 19x9 and 19x10 wheels and I'm fitting 235/35/19 in the rear and 225/35/19 up front. Help me out!

Those tires sizes won't work, they are just over 1 % at 1.082% The following would work.
225/35/19 - 255/30/19
235/35/19 - 265/30/19

Garage List
Three options:

225/35-19 with 255/30-19
235/35-19 with 265/30-19
235/35-19 with 275/30-19

Option 2 is the most common choice because it has the least fitment issues when considering different tire manufacturers and offsets.

Option 3 gets you a wider rear tire but may cause fitment issues particularly with LCI cars depending on your rear wheel offset

Option 1 is really only used for high offset applications where a stretch is needed to reduce/eliminate rubbing and other fitment issues. This also provides the lowest sidewall and therefore the least amount of wheel protection from road hazards.

sorry to thread-jack, but since people are helping here, maybe i can throw in my specs for some guidance with this "1% difference" aswell...

19x8.5 et35 235/35/19
19x9.5 et40 245/35/19 falken 452

this isnt what i'd normally go with, but a used setup i'm looking at has these tires mounted and just wanted to ensure its ok with the xdrive

thanks in advance

Fronts are small than rear. I would recommend against that setup.

What would the fronts have to for me to be able to fit 235/35s in the rear?

215/40 if you are talking about 19s. Not sure if that size even exists. What are you trying to do? Why the wierd and crazy sizes?

Because I'm CRAZY!!! Just kidding I just have a pair of 235/35 that I've been dying to use because it has an insanely grippy tread pattern and I wanted the grip in the rear. Plus I like a noticeable stretch aswell

Google Miata tire calculator.

That's what I used for my staggered setup

They will not work with the xdrive, well technically you could mount them and drive and wait for the xdrive to malfunction lol.

But seriously you need at least the 265/30, the 275/30 is even better, if you want to keep the 235 in the front.

Well he could run 235/35s all the way around but the rears would be stretched and the fronts wouldn't.
