Concensus on 235 wheel spacing

So out of curiosity what was the consensus on the best spacing for the factory staggered set up.....i know is is a very opinionated topic but am getting ready to order and would like to purchase once. I can live with the style of the factory wheels and the color is close to matching the mineral grey ans anything out there. I would think to keep a consistent staggered formula and look it would be the same spacing front & rear just moving the stance out all the way around. So....
10mm F&R
12mm F&R
10mm F & 12mm R
12mm F & 15mm R
12mm F & 10mm R (makes it look square?)

Just looking for opinions and curiositys why your combo’s were chosen. Not meant to debate one or the other right or wrong.

Thanks

Everyone's suspension geometry is a bit different (depending on alignment, ride height, camber etc). There's specs people can recommend to get a "good" look. However, to get EXACTLY what you want I'd suggest doing some measurements first:

After having my new wheels on for a while now, I think 12mm on the front is really ideal and on the back, 10mm or 12mm is good too...the difference is so small you probably can't tell the difference (I have a 10.9mm spacer effectively on the rear with the new wheels).

The thing about spacers is that after a while, you tend to second guess if you should have gone thicker, just a tad more, just a bit more aggro etc. IMO advisable to go max from the start. I went 12F 15R when it was confirmed by a few that the configuration do not rub.

Or the opposite...did I go too thick? That's what happened to me when I went 12/15...the rear was too much and I just kept looking at it and second guessing. I actually liked 15/12 a lot better.

No rubbing with 15 front? Maybe I should have gone 15 front too

I like the slight differential between the front and back....so I think I will just poke all 4 out the same. I think 15 might be too much so that is why I am centering on the 12 all the way around. Not sure I would like 15 rear and 12 front......decisions decisions.....

I looked at the M3 at the dealer the other day and Bam! there is a big differential

15R 12F is fine and works for me. The wider the better at rear IMO. Whatever you decide, it would work for you. It's all subjective and if you don't like the setup, it's a easy and cheap rejig. Good luck with your decisions!

From Sydney, AS? I will be down there next month! May have to take a look at your spacer setup to make a decision
