How long did your OEM tires last? Z4 2.5 w/ sport (RE050A)

So I have a 05 Z4 2.5i w/ sport package, she wears 225/45/17 RE050A II RFT's.

Has about 17K miles on it, lease it up in 6 months and I have up to 25K miles.

How long did your tires last? Can I conceivably run it until turn in and not get new tires?

If I need new tires I might as well get them now and start tracking the car (only had it for 4 months now). Have not measured tread depth but it looks ok as of right now.

And what do you recommend i replace them with? I'm thinking RE-01R's or PS2's

since you have 6 months run it down! =) but depending on how much tread you have left you may want to just throw on some cheapies on there.
