I got my VRSF FMIC the other day, and I kinda wanna do a graphic on the FMIC. Am I crazy/ricey for wanting to do that?

Has anyone done it and how??

Not so crazy- my Dinan intercooler came with the Dinan logo on it- you can see it through the bottom grille- but then, I didn't have much of a say in it- it came that way

ricey or not really depends on what graphic you're doiing. I actually used a stencil and black sharpie to have my last name (only 3 letters total) on the fin...but I've erased it cuz the sharpie ink fades after a while. I will do it again later but i will definitely use a paint spray can instead.

Idk what graphic I want, all I know is that I want something cool lol any spray paint will do it? Won't damage anything?

It really depends what you want to put on there. I would maybe put the company logo on there but thats it.

If you can get a sign shop to cut you a stencil, you can just spray paint any design you want on. Back in the day when I had a vinyl cutter, I did a few IC's like that.

a thin coat of spray paint aint going to clog up anything. make sure u dont over spray it tho.

I had a JHM FMIC on my B5 S4 and it came with JHM painted on one side... Luckily, with that core, you could just turn it around and I had the logo face the radiator so you couldn't see it... Something about having a company's name spray painted on my car just seemed really cheep and not attractive looking. If you dig the looks of spray painted logos, go for it... I would probably stray away from the ///M since its not an M car, since you're asking for opinions.
