I may be in the minority here, but I'm not a fan of K&N air filters. In fact, I'm not a fan of any air filter that uses oil as part of the filtering element. There's no doubt they allow for increased air flow, but an oiled element in front of the MAF meter is concerning to me, especially in the hands of a novice DYIer. My Dinan ram air intake system came with a K&N and I spent an extra $85 for an AFE dry element air filter because I didn't want to use the K&N. Remember, this is just one man's opinion!

You COULD try HP Autowerk's foam filter. I have that one, pretty decent difference over that paper stock job. But yea, any differences are quite negligible. I don't care what anyone claims, the HP isn't noticeable. At this stage in the game, I'm on about IATs (I even made a thread on it!)
