Well it's time to say bye bye

So I found a 2014 mustang 5.0 for 30k. I actually worked the dealer down to 26k, which I think is an amazing deal. It's not the base model, but not that high up of a model either. Six speed of course.

I have a 2010 335 x coupe with 40 k miles on it. I am getting 23k for it. A little hit I know, but I doubt I would have gotten more than 25k for it anyway. The mustang has 4k miles on it, so technically it's used which is why in getting such s nice price. Full factory warranty and everything. It was a blast to drive and I feel like this is a good switch as a car with such low miles will hold its value much better than my very quickly depreciating bow. It's gray on black interior

Congrats...But you do realize you are going from a car that can handle in the snow to a car that will possibly try and kill you in the snow.

Congrats. Hope people don't jump in here just to shit on the mustang. Different strokes and definitely a cool car. Enjoy.

A buddy of mine has the same car with the track package and he seems to like it! Getting into a faster, newer car with 4k miles is great. Congrats OP

To be honest, there's a 2014 5.0 down the street from me and I sometimes day dream about it too. I'm not even a Mustang fan, but that 5.0 sounds incredible. Way more badass sounding than any 335i on the planet.

Thanks guys. I'm certainly not a wise slender when it comes to cars as I keep jumping from car to car and essentially losing money, but I think I'm gonna stick with this one. You only live once right? I'll take some pics once I get it. Planning on a CAI And a tune

Take a look at the Roush front grills for it, will completely change the look of the car. Also look up the "Ghost Cam Tune", sounds dead sexy.

one of the guys i work with has a 2013 5.0. he took me for a ride in it the one day and its one hell of a car. even in stock form, he has a tune and some other crap for it and with all the mods it put down 430hp at the wheels. he plans on getting a supercharger next for it. im sure the damn thing will be a rocket after that. the interior is cheap but you dont buy that kind of car for the interior. good luck with the new car.

Congrats, great car for that money. Look into the boss 302 intake manifold, it's a pretty good mod for easy power and looks a lot better than the stock one.

400rwhp is extremely easy. CAI and a tune. Boss intake mani wouldn't be a bad decision either.

I don't know about your neck of the woods, but here in SoCal for some reason people who drive bimmers and benz's don't get pulled over as much as others. Just saying it can attract the wrong kind of 5-0 if ya know what saying.

Other than that your ride is powerful and can be modded to outrageous levels. My buddy has a 04 cobra and that thing is wicked fast.

Have fun.

Fast. loud, and V8. I think we've got the essentials. You'll miss the BMW in the other aspects, but I would have tried the same path.

Here it is guys! Believe it or not, this was my first time ever driving a manual. I have been practicing literally all day and have it down almost perfectly now. I hope I didn't do any damage to the transmission by stalling and grinding so many times though...

Those clutches can handle it, just try not to baby it too much in the future. Also if those are the cloth seats you should look on Ebay for people selling the OEM leather. It only costs a couple hundred to have an upholstery shop make it look perfect or you can do it yourself with some wrinkles (will go away in summer)
