Square set-up 225/40-18 with Blizzak WS80 and throw a front original wheel/tire in the trunk as a spare. I bought a mini spare from bimmerzone.com to be liberated from run flats all year long.

The wifey feels better with RFT so I decided to not fight that battle. But I get your point. |

I decided on the 17" BBS-SR wheels with skinnier tires 215/50R17 WS-80 - the more the sidewall and thinner the tire the better.
Wheels are backordered and expected to ship the first week of October. |

I did not want to run 18" but have to because of the Track Package bringing along larger MSport calipers. If you can run 17", by all means do that with a narrow tread width as possible.

I am going to run 17" on my M235i, I am pretty sure the brakes clearance is the same as the track package 228i
