DME 2EF4 after water pump and thermostat replacement.
So, about a month ago, I replaced my Water pump and thermostat.
No issues, all went well. Drove approx 1500km on it and I get a SES light. I was away from home... Like 1200km from home. No performance issues or cooling/heating issues either. But when I did get home, using DIS, I got DME 2EF4 I cleared it. Drive another 300km and it SES came in again.... Same code. Today. Shit, does this mean a new thermostat? My parts are continental water pump and a quality After pump. DN DN |

That's the code for a failed heater circuit in the T-stat. Seems to me since it is so new there you can get a replacement under warranty.
