I don't have one but am curious, you have the 7 inch, why replace it with the stepped? I'm looking at both and I'm curious as to your change?

I have a 535 with OEM M5 front bumper along with my 335i. Installing the 7" on the 5 bumper leaves a massive 3" gap on the top opening. I have all the dimensions of the above listed stepped IC and they are all roughly around 8" tall as the VRSF non stepped is only 5" tall. Vargus is running Cobb stepped IC that is roughly the same dimensions as VRSF stepped. He is pushing 730whp + with great results and awesome IAT. I would rather have more frontal surface area then a deeper core. Honestly Cobb and Helix would be my top choices because they also have the most depth 6" plus height 8" as VRSF only has 5. If I had to do it again I would just do the VRSF stepped because even on the Mtech there is still almost a 2" gap at the very top.

Considering a lot of the ST have stepped as well or something like a bigtom I would go this route, although VRSF claims better IAT with his 7" than stepped 5" I would love to see a line up with testing of some of the major players, Cobb, Helix, vs VRSF Stepped 5. Also Helix is revising their end tank design should be finished by the end of the year.

I have a Helix for sale. Barely used, sitting in storage. If you're still looking for one, send me a PM.
