Black wheel scratches, anyone?

I recently had a chance to see the black wheels that I ordered. Saw them at the local dealer and I saw minor scratches on the black painted areas on one of the wheels. I'm a little nervous because this car hadn't seen any street time yet. Anyone with this problem?

Any of you guys have recs on how to protect them? Wax, sealer, clear wrap?

No problems on my end so far. Im sure no matter what wheels you get or what finish you get your bound to get a rock chip here and there from daily driving I don't think its avoidable IMO. The black finish OEM wheels look awesome you will be very happy with them

I know. But this car had not seen the street. I think the scratches were made during washing/cleaning.

Damn, the scratches I saw were very small in comparison to that. I hope that what happened to your rim is not a common occurrence. Glad your dealer is taking care of it.

if the car was delivered to you that way then I would address it with your dealer and see if they can do anything about it.

Just wanted to clarify that it was the launch car sold to somebody else. Mine is still at the port awaiting a shipping vessel.

Gotcha. Then hopefully it's addresses by dealer before delivery
