Misaligned radio buttons

Probably the 3 series cheapness, but does anyone else have this issue where one or more of the buttons on the radio (the ones that go from 1 to 8) are not aligned with the rest? Like my #8 is a bit higher than the other.

I sat in a few 3 and 4 series cars today at my dealership and they all had some button that looked like it was out of place.

Lol sorry guys.

This is the stuff that is just perfect in M5 (and 5 series). Interior is perfect. No faults. No issues. Its like the car is made by a different company.

Number 8 really annoys the crap out of me

It looks like #1 is also a bit higher too. Are my eyes deceiving me? If so, maybe its done on purpose? Perhaps by a mad, drunk radio button ergonomics designer?

Cheers.

It's so bad now that people will probably be upset if the FUYAO or Pilkington logo on the glass is crooked. I know a good therapist.

...and OP, my F30's buttons are perfect.

Let me also save you some surprises. If you have greasy chicken fingers and you like to press your buttons a lot, they will begin to start showing wear and crack in the middle. How's that for your $80k nurburgring-mobile? Complain about it now so that you won't have to do it later.

What? Are you implying that eating Popeye's chicken will void my warranty? An $80K car and they can't keep the buttons clean.

Cheers.

P.S. Before anyone gets bent out of shape, this is known as sarcasm.

It sucks that you even had to give a post script disclaimer. The forum needs a revolution.

I'll just leave this right here to ward away future F8X owners. Dem chicken fingaz though!

I'm glad you noticed!

I haven't seen one that is perfect. They all either have at least one button that's a bit recessed or raised up.

These are the little details that makes BMW different than other brands. Other brands don't have these because they don't cheap out.

If you want to discover other OCD-like anomalies, I'll give you another one that all F30/32/80/82 M Sport and M steering wheels have. Go check your steering wheel and wrap your hand around the 3 and 9 o clock position and use your fingers to feel the back of the leather. Your right hand (3 o clock) will have less leather wrapped behind and less surface area than the left hand (9 o clock). All of them are like that to a varying degree and don't ask me why it is asymmetric like that. Also wrap your hands around the leather at 5 and 7 o clock position and you may discover that one side feels thicker than the other. Now tap the left paddle and right paddle and you will notice they sound a bit different. And before you come flaming me saying every brand is like that, I've compared it to Mercedes, Lexus, Audi, Porsche, and even a Mazda and they don't have these anomalies.

I can list out a few more if anyone likes to hear them, and I can only discover that much in a BMW for some reason...

Do you have a woman in your life? I'm just poking. Now you're going to make me go check my ///M Sport wheel. I'm going to LMAO if you're right.
