HID to Bi-Xenon

I just recently bought my '03 Z4 3.0i and I wanted to know if anyone can help me out with a couple of things. I want to change all the blinkers (rear, side, and front) to the clear blinkers from the '05 models but I dont know what site to buy them from. I'd like to add chrome exhaust tips and the illuminated Z4 door sills. But I'd really like to change my HID's to Bi-Xenons but I have no idea where to begin. Any sites I can trust for all these goodies? I'm new at this and this is my very first thread so plz take it easy on me. I appreciate all the help in advance.

For the bi-xenons your best bet might be 06+ headlight swap or you swap projectors for bixenon ones from a newer model. For the blinkers LeatherZ.com has them, exhaust tips can be had from the dealer and I've only seen one or two people selling the illuminated door sills.

If you currently have HID headlights then those should work, you'd have to figure out how to wire the bi-xenon flap to your high beam wires and also how to swap out the projectors. I'm not sure if it is 100% doable because no one has disassembled a Z4 headlight to date.

I think my best bet is to do a headlight swap to get the clear blinkers and bi-xenons through the dealership even though it'll cost a pretty penny. I appreciate your help.

Ya, I believe a few people have done that and it sounds like your best bet. You can always sell your old headlights as well.

I want to do this soon...

i have Halogen housing with aftermarket HID's

so buy Bi-XENON projectors+D2S bulbs+wiring harness to fit aftermarket ballast

swap out the projectors, wire up the bi-xenon shutter to the high beam and bam bi xenon

i dunno whether i want to spend all that money though

Costly unless you have an HID kit on hand, and that's if you can source the bi-xenon HID projectors for the Z4 AND can figure out how to swap the halogen projectors with HID ones. Also the wiring for the bi-xenons as well. Probably cheaper and easier to just buy the headlights.

projectors are held in by 4 bolts.. simple
wire bi-xenon actuator to high beam ...simple or simply do not hook up and utilize regular high beam
