Dyno day in Los Angeles/SoCal... Any interest??
I know EAS tried a few times but couldn't pull it off... anybody have contacts at a dyno shop? I know there's plenty of us that want some solid data on our car's health as well as see what actual benefit our mods are getting us, but don't want to spend $125+ for their own session. I know these guys make way more money if they can line cars up and knock them out one after another, so post up here if you can help with a contact, or even if you're interested so I can have a basic head count for the shop.
Let me know, and I'll start asking around! -Tim |

I've been to a couple of dyno days at Church with my other car.. rates were pretty reasonable iirc. and they are also setup to do awd cars as well. Their shop is in Wilmington, near the port of LA
dyno day charges are on their site: http://home.earthlink.net/~spchurch/id1.html Code:
Dyno Day - 5-9 cars $50/car $70/car Dyno Day - 10-14 cars $45/car $65/car Dyno Day - 15+ cars $40/car $60/car I believe the first number is for RWD/FWD, and the second is for AWD cars. Also, they use dynapack dynos, which read a little higher than a typical Dynojet |

so far, it's
1. tc535i 2. tc535i's +1 3. verdik 4. 1andonlySG 5. 1andonlySG +1 So that's enough for Church anyhow, $50 is actually really cheap. I gotta call and see what that entails, but does a Saturday morning sometime in the next month or two sound good for you guys? |

bump for a friend, good luck getting some people man, I'd totally join in if I really wanted to know how slow my car is but I don't need a dyno to tell me v6 camrys can pull on me

Count me in, depending on the date we pick though. We should ask Church to take deposits ahead of time so we don't have anyone cancel the last minute and cost the rest of us.

I'm sure we'll have at least 5, if one or two cancel it'll only change our price by $5 or $10 each, that's not a big deal imo. Certainly not a deal breaker. 1. tc535i ('07 335i fbo) 2. tc535i +1 ('14 Focus ST) 3. verdik (335i) 4. 1andonlySG(?) 5. 1andonlySG +1 (?) 6. tc535i +2 (2011 VW GTI) 7. deadmn1337 (if we go to Church's, '08 335xi) 8. I can talk to the guys at EAS about a group dyno session. If there's enough AWD guys that want to join then we should probably try Church's but if there's only 2-3 then I'd say lets do EAS.
