farewell E90post sold the 335i, got a Cayman

After selling one of the most unreliable cars i have ever bought i sold my 335 and picked up a cayman S... even tho my 335i was unreliable i will always still love it, it was a great car!!!

just picked it up from NY and drove it down to VA, its a completly diffrent driving experience than the 335....The funny thing is the person i bought it from had an E90 335 as his DD lol..

Heres are some quick pics

and my old 335

holy moly thats a nice car... cayman is said to be even better, more balanced car than the vaunted 911. 911 is of course a fast super car but some of mags I read said cayman handles and feels even better.

congrats!

by the way, how much was it?

Nice Porsche . Is that the Cayman or a Cayman S? Needs some wheels... you knew that was coming. Why do you have arched windows with blinds in your garage? LOL

If you maintained your 335 the way you maintain that garage no wonder it was unreliable...

yea, was that a regular cayman or a cayman S?

I have been thinking of doing the exact same thing as you, even though my e92 335i has been pretty reliable (no pump issues so far).

But from the pic I think your 335 looked more pimp, and no I'm not biased at all

Would love to hear a comparison b/w the 2. I sold my 335 and am thinking about a CPO Cayman S, CPO E90 M3 or another 335. Awesome car!

What yr is it? Doesn't look like it has the refreshed tails..I'm guessing a few yrs old? PM me the specifics if you wouldn't mind.

What? Because of the blinds? Aesthetics? So not immediately buffing out a shallow scrape not even through the clearcoat on the paint of a 335 (also aesthetic) is what caused the HPFP to go all the time or the myriad of other issues which plague the cars? Makes perfect sense! You think these things are reliable even when properly maintained? What planet do you live on? And why poke your head in here just to make a snide and useless comment like that?

OP, nice Porsche. Enjoy it. BRB while I fix all my blinds. Maybe then my car will stop failing so often!
