Out of balance car probably.
Certainly with that truck sized turbo.

Will this car perform really good on a track (where the original e30 earned it's merit and soul) or is this an all show and straightlinespeed car?

Sounds like a fun project.

Gotta think about engine weights. Also, big Single turbochargers tend to be lighter than their twin turbo or hybrid turbo counterparts. I probably would have gone with a bottom mount turbo instead of the top mount to help keep center of gravity down low

I know the M50 and N54 are within a couple pounds of eachother, not sure about that S14 the E30 came with.

The engine looks like it is too much forward and would cause heavy understeer. Sounds like a fun idea, but the picture seems to prove it is not working.

Blasphemy. S14 is the heart and soul of that car. Without it, you don't have an E30 M3.

What IF its just a regular e30 made into a M3 clone? I think that's a very cool resto mod'd car project.

I sure hope it's a regular E30 that isn't a 320is. If so, this is pretty cool. I'm thinking of transplanting my N55 into an E30 if (knock on wood, seriously praying for this never to happen) my 1er crashes badly.

I have no issues with this if it were a run-of-the-mill old E30, but an M3? Ruined. My .02

its probably an e30 m3... Look at the wheels. Unless it's a 5 lug conversion. I've had a twin cam swap in an e30 before. Great car no matter how you take it. It is only understandable when you own one.
