Question ..... in-dash LED?

I had an owner of a '03 5 series ask if there was anyway to R&R the LED display that shows across the bottom part of the dash. The area that shows "FASTEN SEATBELTS" has lights that aren't showing.

Anyone have a part number or an idea of what it would take to replace it?

I've heard that BMW dealers will offer a full or partial replacement since it's such a widespread problem. I've heard of many instances where the dealer would cover the part and the customer pays for labor.
