Black rims without M package

Do you think it would look weird to get black rims without also getting the M package (with the black grille)? I either want white or chrome exterior.

I personally think that black wheels look best when you have the shadow line package on your car.

Yes, I see so many X7's with black wheels and no M-Sport pack and it makes me cringe. The white, chrome, and gloss black clash too easily and look out of place, almost aftermarket.

If getting black wheels on a white car, the M-Sport/Shadowline trim is a must. Personally though, I think the alloy wheels with both those options add just the right amount of contrast.

I think black rims look great on white or silver cars.

They don't look too shabby on a blue car either!

If you're gonna do it, at least get them gloss black. The flat stuff looks cheap and always makes me think of plasti-dip.
