^^^I like that shot Bill...good sense of depth with a human subject in the foreground...and the angles from the horizontal ground lines leading up to the vertical lines from the buildings....

Here is a shot I took back in April with my co-workers P&S of a haboob rolling in to Al-Asad, Iraq...we are in a basin and it is perched at the edge of the cliffs waiting to hit us...this shot was taken at approx 12p.m. (ignore the EXIF time):

adrean8j, nice capture. I have a few sand storm shots from my deployments, but they mainly just show the red haze they create.

Another shot through the 70-200 f4 L. These things were fun to shoot, but very difficult. I found manual focus to be the way to go.

Yeah they are. Just sauté them a little in a pan and add some spices. It reminded me a bit like asparagus (how it's crunchy) without the aftertaste.

^ I think you missed your focus? The only thing that seems to be in focus is that small green leaf on the bottom left of the flower.
