Yes, I read your post and saw “prescription”, just chiming in that custom/prescription can have benefits above OTC ones though I’d try OTC first…

And definitely custom has benefits over OTC.

Looks like this is the one ( https://www.amazon.ca/Universal-Slot...f-fa04f1ca0da8 ) for us Canucks but at over $50CDN a pair I think I'll stick with the ones I have now.

Which ones do you have?

I have a bunch of the black ones that go on the jack, but I might make something like the one the jack stand in stainless steel, but without the block on top, and I`ll just use my jack pad.

I use these aluminum pads that I ground to fit snuggly in my jack stands. I have never had them even wiggle once in place and with a little weight on them. They're Potauto and I believe I got them from Amazon.

I didn't buy one of these because I currently have excess PCs sitting around. But if anyone is looking for a lowish end Dell for a kid or to use as a simple file server or whatever, Dell Refurb has a 50% off thing going on now. The code is there by the price. Slap in another 8GB RAM and a 500GB SSD and this wouldn't be a bad PC for basic office stuff.
