I wanted lots of stability and no camera shake. There was so little information that the high ISO wouldn't show up as too grainy, and the lights are so small in pixel count that they show no obtrusive grain either. I was just having fun, not really shooting for ultimate precision.

thanks Tim... dude, there were literally only like a handful people on the beaches there (us included). I was so surprised how quiet, peaceful, and isolated we were. Although it was the off-season, the people working there said it doesn't get much busier.

Pointing my 70-200mm lens in the direction of a lone chick in a bikini would've been obvious.
