Up in Maine for the summer (from Texas) - they have a lot of head-ons up here

http://wgme.com/news/local/witness-d...3-other-people

The front of this honda got carved off - Big IC on there. Not sure if he was hauling A or not.

Narrow roads, distracted driving and very small shoulders. Not to mention moose.

They had a VW meet here at the campground

but not a lot of modded ones. Few BMWs mostly older

Pic included of summer living abode.
And conveyance in lieu of 335

So you are living on someone's street in a motor home, and driving a scooter instead of the 335? Different strokes for different folks.

I would have already reported you to the cops. . .

Trolling kinda early for CA eh??

AH, no and yes.
The pic was from the initial stop BEFORE MAINE (Jeffersonville IND) - if you kept reading, you would see where the CAMPGROUND IS and it doesnt look like that - I guess you have livd in CA a little long.

And when I WAS STAYING AT THAT LOCATION, it was a the end of a road and no, they dont have a problem with being in that location for a limited time.. I guess that another difference in CA eh??

And yes, the two wheels is the mode I am using. I did not want to tow the e92 2200 miles for a limited use. I can get everywhere I need to with the range and speed of the 48volt scooter. Got a GYM, WALMART and PUB all within about 3 miles.

Come again soon eh?? ? I think I remember why I dont spend a lot of time in OT .. headslap.

You ended with this:

Pic included of summer living abode.
And conveyance in lieu of 335

Says nothing about being part way there.

Get out (of OT) while you still can!!!!!

Even after all these years, I still can't find the sarcasm font on here. I've tried different browsers, the app. Still not there.

Would take a pretty big moose to really slow that thing down? (serious question)

Someone hit one the other day in an escalade. It just about took most of the front end off the to windshield. As far as the RV goes, all that is in the front is the Generator set and my feet. The motor is in back. There are two I beams but they wont help a lot.

If you hit something that has pulled in front, (even a car), it can get ugly. Well, it does have about 10K on the front tires, so it wont just completely flex. But Most of the mass is back

And I didnt just pick this location at random. Its about 20miles max from 2/3s of my step kids.. and Im spoiling them this summer. All 3 will be here in about a week and I gonna take them white water rafting... But I do miss the IS. Only saving grace is its 95+ degrees in tx and about 80 max here.

Seriously cool wagon reminds me of Meet the Fokers.

Would love to hire a nice camper (RV in 'murican) and tour about the US.

That thing is far too big for the UK!

get about 9mpg at 60 (which is about the sweet spot) Got a 100 gal tank and I generally can go about 800miles and I am more than ready to stop. Because there isnt a lot of real ideal places to stop in the 2K miles between tx and ME, I was covering about 500miles a day. I filled it up about 3 times on the way up in 4 days - with a 2day stop in KY/IND.

Only 6cyl turbo more impressive than my n54 is the Cummins-ISC in this thing. It makes 1050ft/lbs at about 1200rpm and just works like an anvil.

Lemme see. Motor home. Nothing to see between TX and ME. Think roads in ME are narrow.

Thanks for coming. Have a safe trip back.

well I wont say nothing (did stop in Louisville for the KY derby week). But the priority was to make it to my stepdaughters college graduation. All else was secondary. Trip back will be a little more leisurely.
Yall are a meticulous bunch ;-)
