Wow, this caused a firestorm! It had better be that much power, the m2cs or m2csl will certainly be over 400 hp. And probably lighter. Although the German also suggested the m3 will be lighter.

I'll be getting one of the first models. And then another one after the LCI...

I configured and ordered my car with essentially the same plan. If F82 marks the last gen with 6MT, I will either keep it forever or longer, whichever comes first.

Same - I will keep my 6MT forever. Now, don't tell GrussGott (I always read his name as Guss Grott) nor captainaudio but despite keeping my 6MT, I might get the new M3 in "auto" as well. One is a keeper, one is a DD... they know which is which.

It's just a small step. Just one small step over the line. It's not far. You're barely over the line.

Don't worry, you'll love it. Everybody's doing it. Come on, it's ok.

And I'll still have my 6MT to run back to when I decide I hate it

And I also have plans to get a Ferrari 308 GTS 5MT... so I'm safe from the DCT disease..

They better find a better way to put the power down because the current M has enough issues with that at the current power levels.

The back of the new design looks hideous...better get back to the drawing board, hopefully just a proto-type!

indeed, no point increasing the power when the wheels just spin and you go nowhere

Good-looking evolutionary design.

Those wheels are very sexy! Not a bad render overall, but yeah, ultimately fake news.

It's not the new design. It's the rendering of a random, non-BMW-associated artist, meant to attract clicks and advertising revenue.

MASSIVE click bait. This should probably be deleted....

This is like discussing F8x rumors...in 2010. Completely pointless.

I would hope not, too similar to the current F80.
