Depends on how much you drive, where you drive, and what you're looking for in an EV. Tesla seems to be the de-facto choice on paper but I think there is room in the market for EVs which are more fun to drive with better build quality and design. That's where the BMW i4 comes into play.
But if you need a reliable charging network, love tech and screens, don't mind a so-so interior, and are content driving the same car everybody else is driving then Tesla is the way to go.

There are millions of YouTube videos comparing cost of ownership, price, features etc. of most popular electric vehicles, just use search. Test drive one, it's a different experience for sure. I would go with Tesla...

Been driving electric for over 3 years. I think it’s worth it for people like me who have free work charging and are looking for a good commuter. Used ones are fine as long as you understand that it cannot be your only car.
Personally I would avoid Tesla. My mother spent 55k on one few months after I got my i3. Crap interior, rattles, wheezing noise at highway speed, driver side back door closing mighty sus. Price tag of a BMW, QC of a Soviet era Lada. No thanks. |
