Big problem like that. Trying to control myself but hard as hell. The longest car i've owned was a c63 AMG and that was pretty much exactly 2 years. I can't even stick with a car like that for longer, there's no hope for me . Had the M3 for 8 months and looking around sorta already.

Interesting topic.

Of course I look and "wish" but am somehow happy and at ease with what I have. Yes there's better out there, but a lot worse too. So I'm really happy with where I am right now, feeling that as a package, this is nicely balanced, pretty damn good actually.

Oh... and same goes for my car

Same difference. Sometimes vintage is nice.

Yep with you on this one, I am at my 7th new car knowing each time I change I lose a fortune, I went on for a full M sport conversion for my previous E60, cost me an arm and a leg to end up trading the car for my current F10 only few months later. I have a garage queen 635 CSI 1988 thinking this will keep me busy and focused but wrong, I am on what to do next keep my 2011 F10 and buy an old 911, a Z4 E85 or M3 E46, or go for grand 6 series once the new 5 is out and hoping my opinion on it stay the way i.e. it is time to drop the 5 series as it is growing to be a 7 series.
Conclusion always thinking of a way to change my current situation, it is for sure a disease and costly one in Ireland due to high taxes

I don't buy them I build them. So I never sell them because they're just what I want. Then they get wrecked and start over. My most recently finished. My next is a '67 convertible.

I've wanted a Porsche 911 since I was a kid. I could settle for a older used one, but rather get one I'll appreciate. I'll get there one day. The M235i was something I've wanted since I came across it.

haha i'm infected with the car disease. Always looking around...

Just picked up a 340 from PCD last Monday, already thinking - hmm a M240i would be nice next year. Or, the new S3 LCI was released today...

Or, maybe a X4 M40i would be a nice daily... Ridiculous.

Wow, I was not expecting to find so many people 'suffering' from this when I decided to start this thread.

*A moment of silent while we hug each other*

A lot of you have really great cars, Porsche, M3, AMG, even some GTR, R8 lurking about there. Seems like it doesn't end at higher levels too...

Wonder if a similar thread in a Lamborghini forum exists, and they are talking about flying to the moon...

I'd like to think that eventually when I get a Lamborghini or something like that I wouldn't want to switch anymore but knowing me who knows. Lol

I'm the same way. 28 and had 22 cars. Some cool/fast/fun, some not. But I always want something else. I hate getting rid of cars I really like, but there's too many models to experience to have one for too long.

I think my craze will stop (at least slow down) once I get a 911.

The Supra has been more of something for me to visit than drive lol.

I picked up a 94' 1 owner vehicle. The car is a mint Cali car, no accidents/paintwork. It is red, targa, and of course twin turbo. The car was also owned by the owner of a Toyota dealership and only 40k original miles.

Upon purchase, I was totally set on going the bpu route (basic power upgrades), lowering it and building a set of wheels for it. However, the market for that car is going a bit crazy and a stock unmodified one retains the best value. So as hard as it is, I am not modifying it. The only way I can possibly control myself is to not have it in my possession.

I have left it stored at the dealership that I bought from. I will pick it up and do some driving with it this summer.

I bought my forth car in two years last September, a 1990 Miata, since then I've spent as much upgrading it and actively looking for the fifth. It's an addiction that has no cure unless I go bankrupt of course...
