Baller ass sidearm(s). Lol! There are a few guys at my station with Staccato's, but the department won't cover damage to them. I dunno if I would want to patrol with $4k+ of my own money on my duty belt. You, Sir, are a G and I'm not worthy. <bow>

LOL!! I was at the range for the Single Action Firearm class for two days just to get certified to carry it. I tell you what, Staccato's are so fun to shoot and so accurate and it comes with 3 20 round mags. Yeah, I know what you mean about carry them on duty.... maybe I should just stick with my Gen 5 Glock 17 and 43 as my back.

For us, we have to shoot "Expert" and then take the 1911 class. Only then can we carry the Staccato. I shot it once; that trigger is niiiiiiiice. |

Just looked up the price for a Staccato - I hadn't even heard of them before.

Curious what sights you use. I bought a Staccato and love it. But I also bought a red dot sight and installed that and am not really feeling that. About ready to go back to the iron sights.

I'm a fan of them. My carry guns, my SHTF guns, my fun guns, and my range toys all have some form of a RDS installed. |

I'm not a fan of red dot but I guess majority of the deputies that have the red dot on their gun loves it. An average gun fight is 3 to 5 feet so basically from the holster its point then shoot. The red dot would come in handy when you have to tread that needle in a hostage situation.

Maybe it's me. Maybe I need more range time. I confess I am getting pretty lazy. Don't shoot as much as I really should to retain skills. |

Do cops pull over lowered, riced out cars with fart can mufflers more than other cars?
In south florida anything goes on a car down here and I can't believe some are driven on the streets. If I was a cop I'd be targeting these fast and furious types in their civics. |

I rarely cite for tint unless I'm citing for other things that caused the primary contact. |

Newish (1.5yr) resident to south Florida. I'll be doing 80-90mph on the interstate to keep up with traffic and see people flying past me well over 100mph. Some have even passed cops in the other lane lol. Just how fast is too fucking fast here? I really don't understand.

Just a quick plug r/t an older string on here - most Veterans are eligible for free and truly confidential services from their local Vet Center (not even a note in the VA records). I work with many LEO's, and most would not have gone someplace that put it on record (and a lot of local agencies are 'self insured' so your insurance company is also your employer). Eligibility is technically for combat Vets, but also many other subcategories, and we aren't scrutinized, so usually 'work it out to a yes' when it comes to eligibility q's.

No faster than is safe
So if all the people in the plane pick the window seat and just close the shades, can I scream loudly about the hairy guys pulling wires out of the engine???
