No. That's an M Plate. Manufacturer's plates are always from the home state of the Manufacturer's HQ. That's why Ford, GM, Stallantis, and Nissan products have Michigan M plates.

I was really hoping they would have softened the corners of the bumper surrounding the grille a bit for the production model to make it less intense. It's the one design element of the car that I'm not crazy about.

But on the other hand, I have pretty much despised almost every new car design in the last 5+ years or so, so at some point, I need to be excited about something and as an 07 350z owner, this is the first car that has me legitimately excited in a long long time. I love the rest of the Z's design, so I'll take a sharp rectangular opening as a concession for the rest of the car looking as great as it does. Between my R8 and my STI I'll probably never buy one, but I'll definitely be excited to check it out and see them on the streets amid a sea of horrendous looking modern cars.

Regardless, it is still better looking than the abomination that is the beaver G8x

There is something to be said about 'less is more'

My marketing hat on would say its 'nostalgic'

Considering the shoestring budget they are on, i'd say it looks convincingly like a new car (when we know the chassis dates back to the 2000s)
