OP I wonder the same thing. People online fawn over it for no reason. At the end of the day it's still an understeering numb-feeling Audi that weighs as much as a whale. The wheels look comically large and otherwise it's just a boring looking vehicle.
Audis just don't appeal to me at all. BMW, Porsche, Alfa Romeo; now those are cars to get excited about.

Rs6 is beautiful but not as practical for a family as the X7 or SQ7. |

I'd likely be interested in an RS4 Avant. However after owning a TTS and TTRS, when I first got into German cars, I'm not sure I could convince myself to even go for a test drive.
RS6 would be too big to enjoy considering the size of the parking spots and more narrow lanes I encounter very often here. It would only be really enjoyable for touring and I don't do that often enough to buy a car specifically for that. |

Thanks! Extreme car-ADD lol. My wife hates it. There's probably another 30 cars I've owned that I didn't list

I got an RS 6 and deeply regret it. Yes, it’s a cool looking car, but the inside and the power don’t equal a $120k price tag. I’m coming from an f90 m5 and have been trying to put a deal together to trade out of the RS6 and get back to the M5 since the 2nd day I had it (2 weeks now).

While still holding out for BMW to provide something appealing in their lineup, it came time to let go of my E70 X5M. Couldn’t pass up the opportunity, and so far I can report that the RS6 has been worth it!!

Thanks, I guess? After I created the thread I had the opportunity to drive one through Europe last summer and created many great memories with the family. It stuck with me and with my E70 passing the 10yo mark I was ready for a change. Will drive it for a couple years and hopefully the M5 estate will make it stateside by that time.

i think the wheels and tires are too big for the RS6!
other than that it's ok if you have money to burn. at our regional ice hockey tournament i saw a new RS6 with a learner's plate |
