Well I haven't really had a chance to take if for a good drive yet. I can tell you from my initial impression that it drives nothing like an M5. The M235i is very responsive to steering and throttle inputs, it feels light on it's feet. Not that the M5 isn't responsive it's just a different feel. Keep in mind my M5 has the comp package.

Put it this way, if I where going for short drive the M235i would be the choice for a fun, run around town car. If I'm going on a long drive out on the open highway it would be the M5. The M235i is the back road twisties car and the M5 is the autobahn stormer.

For the next couple weeks the M235i is going to be my prefered ride. Once the newness wears off a little I'll be able to give a better impression.

If you get a thrill from going WOT from a roll on the freeway, there are very few cars more thrilling than the F10 M5. It has insane speed... go straight to jail don't pass go speed.
