i think that 47k for a car like this is still a bargain.

btw... try ED? with alot of work my cash price was less than 42k for my e92 335i with zsp, zpp, zcw, 6fl, ca on space/saddle/dark burl. this is before tax and trip but still...

LOL @ 47k. I see 335i coupe, less than 10k miles, for $39k. Don't let people convince you that it's buying the badge. Drinking too much sales koolaid or being selfish for resale value. Cold hard cash is all it matters here. Just another transaction and at any income level a better deal is a better deal. Everything is expensive in Germany relative to the dollar. It's lucky we pay the amount we do here because in other countries, the 335i is much more expensive.
