Haha. Sure. Im comfortable with my sexuality. I have no problem calling someone like Henry, Idris, etc handsome, because I think they are. Not sure how positive sarcastic commentary on Henry’s good looks makes anyone have “gay leanings, low T, or be a soy boy,” though.

Also, I have cooties.
Social media. Commenting on men’s looks. Are you sure they were straight?

At face value, sure. I suppose you can’t truly know whether someone is gay or straight on the internet, though. After all, it’s the internet.

Again, not sure how a guy complimenting another guy on their looks suddenly makes their sexuality questionable. Does a father telling their adolescent son that they’re handsome suddenly make him gay, a pedophile, and into incest? That’s quite the trifecta.

+1

If I tell someone they have a beautiful/handsome dog or horse, does that mean I’m into bestiality?

A dude who can’t even admit to himself or others that an obviously handsome dude is good-looking is so homophobic that I’d seriously wonder if that dude wasn’t the one hiding in the closet.

Roger Moore was 46 when he first played Bond, and had the part for 12 years. People today are staying in better shape, so there’s no reason why a 44-year old couldn’t take the role.

Having said that, I’ve never thought Elba right for 007, and it’s got nothing to do with race.

Daniel Craig is already 50 and will likely do a couple more films, though Idris is the front runner to replace him apparently.

Saying Henry Is handsome is one thing. Saying he will make you turn gay.....well...okay then.

Agreed, always wondered why he never got the role.

He has that typical dismissive look and attitude that Bond needs.

But a balded Bond would be a new one, in case of Statham.
Nevermind, before Alicia Vikander played the Lara Croft no one ever could imagine that this character is even playable w/o boobs

Chris is too much of a barbie. James Bond has wrinkles.

I thought Craig only had one more 007 film and he desperately wanted out of his contract.

Indeed but those were different films. I also seem to remember that the owners of the franchise wanted to avoid using an older actor when starting a series of films.
Moore was however their first pick over Connery. Maybe he was cast for more films because I. Fleming felt Moore was perfect for the role.

OP. Take it to vote. Create a poll. I think he is one talented actor. From Stringer Bell in the Wire to Luther and, Nelson Mandella. I think he would make a good 007.
