I bought that, works fine. Also purchased a £6 bluetooth one which also works fine.

Does the software which comes with these cables allow updates to the idrive and the faults found like auto logic would? Or is it just for diagnostic and resetting purposes..?

I managed to find my old odb connector from my VW, its says ODB II, will this work on my pre lci 2006 325m sport e90 if I get the software? If so, is it a case of buying a cd software disc from ebay?
