Got bored with Halo Infinite. There's nothing left to do. lol.
Just finished all the expansions in Dying Light.

Now I see my processor is no good for Dying Light 2 on my 2 year old gaming laptop.

I mostly play BeamNG, which is a physics-based car driving simulator. And I have most fun in it when escaping from the cops on Italy map (it takes me about 10-15 full minutes on Fastello road to complete the full loop and escape to the airport landing strip, which is devoid of said cops).

The destruction physics is next-level in this "game", because I have seen actual rally-car damage footage on Youtube and the game mirrors it exactly. It is quite uncanny. All the major panels are accurately modelled in their various stages of destruction, so is the frame, the suspension and the drivetrain.

And it is all inter-connected and producing actual forces acting upon the road through each tire, like in a real car. So unlike other games, where wheel movement is just a fake animation, in BeamNG the same wheels generate accurately modelled physical forces resulting in propulsion.

Does anyone have Elden Ring? I don’t know much about but it seems good and thinking about getting it. How does it compare to Skyrim?

It's more like those dark souls games (the same developer) than skyrim.

I keep coming back to Deep Rock Galactic, its good fun in short bursts. I think someone on here recommended it.

It's really good, From Software's best game. Eating up all my available time.

The open world is better than Skyrim, the rest isn't really like it combat and story/quest wise, it's also much harder with no difficulty options.

It's frustrating, with patience and learning from mistakes is super rewarding.

I've been debating on getting it. The previews I've seen make it look like a great open world game with no point other than just running around and killing things. I've been waiting for my buddy to update me what it's actually like, but he hasn't said anything.

Elden Ring is amazing; I've totally fallen in love with this game. I've never played a souls game prior to this, so no idea how it compares; but I love Skyrim and Fallout and this seems pretty on par for the open world and combat.

The storyline is there, but not "required" to move forward so much, so you can do that as quick or slow as you want. the world is pretty much there to explore however you want otherwise which is nice.

I will say there is hardly any guidance at all so that can be a little frustrating at times. Google has become my best friend at a few points while playing, but overall it is a gorgeous world.

I will say the messaging system is pretty cool. Nothing better than walking up into a cave and having a message from some other player saying "it's a trap, look left" It takes a little getting used to, but I've found it easy enough to use or ignore depending on my mood.

Do it. Would it be your first Souls type game?

Just be prepared to see the 'You Died' screen a lot. Almost 95 hours in and there is still much to explore, bosses to kill, story to progress. I would consider it more accessible than Dark Souls if one hasn't played a Souls game before.

Great you're enjoying it. The story has often been rather cryptic in Souls games, much of the lore is found on item descriptions.
Definitely found looking up a few things through my travels. Messaging was like this in the other games, rather helpful. 'It's a trap'

Since Diablo II Resurrection is lowered at prices... anyone had played this already or is it just a waste of money compared to D3 (which I have fully played until the last season)?

Thanks for the heads up on the discount, would get it but im actually enjoying Lost Ark which from what I understand is a more 2022 friendly way to play an ARPG. Still super grindy though. I didn't get into D2 when it first came out i think I'm gonna wait till i might actually have time to play it

I'd played D2 as it releases back into the mid 90s. Not sure if its worth the money just to play an graphical updated game for nothing but own pleasure.
Actually Im considering waiting for D4, whenever this may come...

Assassin's Creed: Origins

I played the OG AC games up untill AC Unity but imo the new AC games have nothing to do with the AC franchise. Still I really like Origins, not as an AC, but as a game in general.

I came into the AC world late, so I didn't get hooked on the original franchise, but I do see what people mean when they say this. I think what I enjoy about AC games the most is the freedom and combat options. Not a lot of games allow you to be stealthy or clear out an entire compound silently without being noticed. It's a fun challenge sometimes.

The real world locations are fun also. I was playing Origins when I found out I was going to Egypt in real life for a mission. I pulled me into the game so much more.

I recently built a sim racing rig, got VR for it, bought a few more new games that will work with the sim and VR, yet I can't seem to pull myself away from Space Engineers. I swear every day I think of new ways to build stuff and then I can't wait to get home and try it.

I'm currently Playing lost ark on the mari server, it has great combat but feels grindy. Never really played a serious mmo before but I hear this is the norm. I also play hearthstone battlegrounds.

Taking a break from Warcraft after getting back into it just before Shadowlands. I am trying to find a game that is just as fun that my older PC can actually run. I really don't want to buy a $500+ video etc etc. I chased performance way too many times in the past and blew a ton of money just so I could play the next $60 game. So far no luck yet.

Currently switching between wwe2k22 and Townsmen which is a VR game.

Nothing new with the wwe game really still the same mindless fun from 20 years ago or whenever they first launched thesethings. Townsmen is rts style builder vr game, it`s quite engaging but does lack excitemnet imo.
