Nice bike!! Love the perimeter frame. I used to have a crf50 with Marzocchis and a big bike style swingarm/frame, etc years ago....

Currently have a modded KLX110, but need to fix the tranny on it. No pics r.n.

I've been watching for the right deal on a KLX110 or similar.
I'm always afraid on those with the tiny tires and taller frame that one big pot hole is going to send me over the bars and into the woods.

Also adding a wider squarer rear tire, 30mm pz30 carburator and front suspension

@upstatedoc - top speed should be 55/60 I reckon, what was top on the one you built?

I haven't had that feeling much, but there is a little pucker factor when you get some wobble at 65ish from little tires and bumps in the road lol

Honestly after getting the Racing Bros suspension it made those higher speeds way more comfortable. I'm searching for a reasonably priced steering stabilizer, once that's on she should be just fine.

Rebuild coming along. The 4 layers of paint will be removed today and the primer, paint, seal process can begin.

Once the break-in period is over and the zinc oil is changed out I'll post some burnout/top speed pics.

That's about the going price for new 90cc+ complete bikes right now, they've gone up a lot since covid.

You could buy someone else's on offerup and then put the money you saved into upgrades/mods, making it yours.

Yep, they are pricey new. Same with go-karts.

I've built a few for friends who have kids and you can find really good condition used ones for decent prices on facebook marketplace, craigslist, offerup, etc. The last one I bought was a little lime green doodle bug for $60. The engine was blown because they forgot to check the oil, but the rest of it was mint. Bought a $99 Harbor Freight motor, and bolted it on in about 20 minutes.

After some fine tuning with the timing and 4 different jet sizes bike is ready to fly. Blew a gasket, got it silicon sealed now. Muffler removed the backfire.. Originally 5hp 3k rpms, now 13-15 hp 8k rpms.

I don't make any of the frames. I usually find a rolling chassis or a cart with engine problems and spruce it up with go fast parts, tires, paint, etc. My go-to engines are the Predator 212cc and the Honda GX200. Very easy to modify and lots of parts available.

Does it pop wheelies?

Yes - although it's geared for higher top end speed than before.

I've got a bunch of vintage mini bike adds, should I post them or nah?

Those are so badass. I love the trikes. Definitely want a modded Honda ATC250R.
